Hi Gujjars, In Haryana the Yadavs of Rewari revolted against the britishers along with the Gujjars of Faridabad and Gurgaon.
This information has been pasted here to show how the traitors became landlords overnight and the patriots lost everything. The Pity is that even after the independence the land given by Britishers has not been restored to the rightful owners and it is still being enjoyed by the traitors. The whole thing was turned up side down overnight and the Rajas became Rank and Ranks became the landlords.

3. ibid., p. 119.
4. Ibid., p. 119.
After the 1857 battle, Tula Ram moved into Rajasthan; then joined Tantya Tope's forces for one year. After the British proclamation of promising unconditional pardon, amnesty and oblivion to all offences against the British to all except those who directly or indirectly took part in the murder of British subjects (issued on November 1,1858). He sent a petition to the Governor-General, Lord Canning, on December 24, 1858. He stated that he considered himself "an offender, but as he looked upto the government as his protector, he begged to solicit that an inquiry might be directed to be instituted and that he As well as his followers pardoned." He was refused pardon I for he was chief instigator and prime mover of revolt. , He therefore, left India in 1862. He went to Iran; then to Afghanistan in the winter of 1862, where he died of dysentery at Kabul on 23 September 1863 at a young age of 38.1
His cousin Gopal Dev also fled from Narnaul and took asylum with one of his relatives at Udairamsar, a village in Bikaner State. He stayed there in perfect secrecy for four years. Offers of surrender were made to him through his friends by the Deputy Commissioner of Gurgaon but he shunned all enquiries. In consequence, his jagir of 41 villages was confiscated. He died in 1862.2
With the end of the revolt, the vengeance of the British started. Hundreds of people were banged or shot dead and their villages burnt. Rao Tula Ram and Gopal Dev, as noted above, were dispossessed of their jagirs. The Nawab of Jhajar was hanged and the part of his State which now constituted the Mahendragarh district was given to the two loyal chiefs of Patiala and Nabha: the former getting Narnaul and Kanaud Nizamat and the latter Bawal Nizamat.3
For quite some time after the Uprising, the people of Mahendragarh suffered a great deal: obviously the spirit of vengeance on the part of the victors was Working there. They were denied almost all the benefits of the Raj as a consequence of which they became backward in all respects.
This condition was not to remain for long, however. In the last decade of the preceding century, as elsewhere, the winds of change began to blow here also. With the spread of western education, urbanization and techno-economic changes, the people, especially the town-dwelling middle classes were influenced. The attempts of Arya Samaj were most significant in this

Dear A.P. Singh ji, hello How are you, Many times i thought to interact but couldnt . I visited in this website in 2005, since then i regularly read your articles. I was very much attracted to the Royal history of Royal Gurjar community during my engineering study. Then i decided to make some time for my Gurjar community. I was very much confused that what work i should, but as i already wrote in my articles that our Gurjar community dont want the special work for it. This is self established and has golden past.
We will have to just polish to our community. Definately it will come in its previous shine.
Our glorious past is not the thing which anybody earn easily. There were lot of storm to remove it, but we still alive.
Your articles and proofs gave me a new energy. We can debate to other community and with those who raise the question on our identity.
The good and bad people are always the part of any community. But the work which is done by a bad man cant be a part of work of whole community.
You are a person who seriously think for our Royal community. We need the courage like you. The any good work which is done by any Veer Gurjar is the pride for whole Gurjar community. Somebody compare with us, and in other context they says that we are not comparable.
I dont know why these people and communites have the fear of Royal Gurjars , B'coz of this fear they react rubbish. I dont know why those people afraid. We never do compare with others. But why they always talk our matters & think for us? This is the FEAR..........isnt it? But why?
A.P.Singh ji you are our milestone, you gave the information to community that what we were , now i will try to spread your message in whole community that what we can be more better after polish ourself.
No need to do very much hard work. Our forefathers Samrat & Kings gave us lot of reasons to HOLD OUR HEADS UP. We were Royal and will always.
We dont worry about others, what they says. We are the people who dont care stupids. We are what we are.
A.P.Singh ji make possible to talk me thru email.after that can make contact thru phone. I hope we can share lot of things with you. I also invite Ashok Harsana ji and Shri KPS Gurjar ji, Atleast we should be united to face the hurdles. Thanks and regards

Hi Veer Gurjeshwar,
I am only providing the authentic proof of the Gujjar History here by giving the links of the well established and reputed organisations.
I have taken lot of pains to find these links and will certainly be glad if these reaches to each and every person of Gujjar Race irrespective of their religion and caste since Gujjar today are followers Sikhs, Muslims,Hindus and Jains faiths and splitted among many caste like Chauhan( a separare caste than the Gujjar and rajputs Chauhans gotra), Parihars (A separate caste than the Gujjar and Rajput parihar gotra etc.
I am the youngest of all brothers in my family and due this reason dont attend many community function and also I am a busy professional, I find it very difficult to interact at personal level with anybody. However I shall always be available on this forum.
I would request all my Gujjar brothers that the information given by me here may be further refined and be posted to as many forums and sites as possible. This will not only help others to know the truth about the Gujjars but will also help to improve the image of the community which went towards a wrong side due the misinformation campaign launched by the britishers for their own gains against the Gujjars being their bitter enemy before and after the 1857 revolt.
Regards.
AP Singh
